This is definitely not your fault. It is not you or your friends' duty to hang out with her if they don't want to. I can tell Izzy is a drama queen and so is her mom. I don't know about everyone else, but calling other people's mom to say her child was "left out" or "treated unfairly" is a bit much. If it were me, I wouldn't even apologize because I didn't cause her go completely emotional. Izzy is acting like it's the end of the world! It is ONE movie date! I am sure there are more to come with you guys. But I do commend you and your friends for apologizing even if you felt you did nothing wrong because that shows courage. On the other hand, that brat didn't accept the apology! If I were you, I wouldn't care anymore because you tried to reach out to her and she denied. Obviously, she does not care enough about her friendships. I suggest you move on.
